Making the Clackity Noise
It feels slightly less than OK to say something like “Thanks Merlin” when he’s just written what essentially boils down to a manifesto about getting off my ass and clackitying, but Thanks Merlin!

When I was a percussionist in high school, we were responsible for keeping the jazz band, full orchestra, concert band, and marching band in time,...
The old grey mare
Tomorrow may be the dawning of a new era. One where I inch ever so closer to actual adulthood. I’m going to take advantage of the last day of the Cash for Clunkers program and trade my 1994 GMC Jimmy in for a 2010 Mazda3 Hatchback.

Did you miss me?
I’m back. At least a little bit. Like I said, things are a little different now. Priorities have changed. I just unfollowed about 100 people on Twitter and blocked many Facebook “friends”. Found Highway
While this trip has totalled my tumblarity, the great thing is that I could give a rat’s ass. I’m having a terrific time with minimal Internet and the fog of web/social media has been lifted from my brain. I think I actually went through a withdrawal of sorts, but feel reenergized.
That said, we’re documenting our trip over at http://www.foundhighway.com - check it out.
Best $2.25 shower ever! Clean clothes never felt so good. And PB&J on smooshed bread for breakfast. Off to the Grand Canyon North Rim!

I’ve been derelict in my tumbling, but that’s b/c I’m on the road. I’ll pop in from time to time, but follow me over at the my Found Highway tumblr in the meantime. kthxbai.
